Through scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development, we equip students with the tools to pursue higher education, increase economic mobility, and create lasting change. Our mission is to empower youth and build a legacy of impact for generations to come.
CLEAR Core, Inc. is led by a dedicated, all-volunteer Board of Directors, composed of highly respected community members, most of whom are retired educators with decades of experience. With deep roots in Lafayette County, our board members bring passion, expertise, and a strong commitment to expanding CLEAR Core’s impact. Their leadership ensures that we are well-positioned to continue and grow our scholarship programs and community initiatives.
Why Our Mission Matters
Mississippi remains one of the nation’s most underserved states, and Lafayette County is no exception. Located about 150 miles north of Jackson, the county has a population of just over 55,000 residents (2020 Census), with 14% of the county living in poverty.
At CLEAR Core, we believe the key to breaking the cycle of poverty is education. By increasing college access, financial support, and youth development opportunities, we aim to raise household incomes, increase homeownership, and open doors to brighter futures.
Growing Our Impact
