our mission
our purpose
CLEAR Core is a 501(c)(3) that helps Lafayette County, MS, students overcome financial barriers to college & vocational training through direct monetary aid, mentorship, & community support.
Higher education comes with unexpected expenses—textbooks, fees, housing—that can defer enrollment or force students to drop out. Students receive $1,000 annually for up to four years of college.
Our funding helps ease that burden so students can finish what they started.

Who we are
We are founded by former educators & led by an all-volunteer board of retired teachers & community leaders with deep roots in Lafayette County, MS.
We're a community funding our own by supporting local high schoolers through college & vocational programs with direct financial aid & mentorship.

Yet, too many students drop out of higher education when unexpected costs & emergencies hit.
Our documentary, premiering Fall 2026, shares the CLEAR Core story to reach more students who need us & connect with supporters who can help them finish what they started.
